Best Practices - Roundtable

Do you ever wish you could travel to other after-school programs to see what they do? Do you have a best practice from your program that you would like to share with others?  Join us for this provider Roundtable on March 30th from 5:30-6:45 pm!

During this roundtable discussion, providers will have the chance to share their own best practices as well as hear from others. We will dive into the Social Emotional Learning (SEL) PQA tool giving practical examples from programs around Vermont. Participants will offer examples of successful quality program practices in the SEL PQA Domains of:

  • Creating Safe Spaces

  • Cultural Empathy

  • Supporting Youth Interests

  • Responsibility and Leadership

  1. Connect SEL quality standards to everyday practice.

  2. Explore the SEL PQA Tool domains; Creating Safe Spaces, Cultural Empathy, Supporting Youth Interests, Responsibility and Leadership

  3. Share and discuss examples of best practices in these SEL PQA areas with other programs in Vermont
